Art by James Gulliver Hancock For this puzzle design I wanted to capture the Tetris-like landscape of a big urban city like New York. I’ve taken a lot of my drawings I’ve done of buildings in New York over the years and combined them to give a sense of the city. You’ll notice that the super famous buildings aren’t really that prominent. Instead, I like to bring to the forefront the buildings of the everyday, the ones people actually live in and buy groceries at. I love how New York is a fully functioning place that people from all walks of life use constantly day and night and where some of these less flashy buildings are such a big part of that life.
